A: The Jackery Explorer 1000 Pro uses a Lithium-ion Battery

 

Q2: What is the life expectancy?

A: : It is rated for 1000 full charge cycles, at that point you will have approximately 80% of your original capacity, and will gradually reduce from there.

 

Q3: When should I recharge the Jackery Explorer 1000 Pro?

A: We recommend that you keep the battery power above 20% when using or storing the power station daily. A fully charged battery can last for several months, please recharge it every 3 months to keep the battery power above 50% when not in use.

 

Q4: Does Jackery Explorer 1000 include a built-in MPPT controller?

A: Yes, the Jackery Explorer 1000 Pro has an internal MPPT controller.

 

Q5: Does the product generate any noise?

A. The noise does not exceed 46 dB within 1 meter.

 

Q6: Does it support pass-through charging?

A: Yes, the Explorer 1000 Pro fully supports pass-through charging, with no adverse effects to the battery.

 

Q7: What are the main differences from the Explorer 1000?

A: Below are the main differences - please refer to the points below:

1. The Explorer 1000 Pro doesn't require the power brick, a piece of power cable can simply be used for recharging.
2. The Explorer 1000 Pro has a faster recharge time compared to the Explorer 1000 and has 2 DC input ports
3. The Explorer 1000 Pro has a longer life cycle than Explorer 1000.
4. The Explorer 1000 Pro can self-diagnose faults and display it to customers.

 

Q8: Is the Explorer 1000 Pro compatible with my device?

A: The Jackery power station Explorer 1000 Pro can run devices at 110V, requiring less than 1000W. If this does not exceed the output power of the Explorer's AC port, it can be supported by The Explorer.

• Working time = Explorer's watt-hours * 0.85/operating power of your device.

 

Q9: Can I use the car charger, wall charger, and solar panel to charge the Explorer 1000 Pro simultaneously?

A: Yes , however DC takes priority.

 

Q10: Can I use 2 car chargers to charge simultaneously - will it shorten charging?

A: Yes - it will shorten the charging time by up to half the time.

 

Q11: Can the two input ports be connected to different Jackery solar panels and in different quantities additionally?

A: Yes, the two DC inputs are independent and it will not affect each other.

 

Q12: Is the Explorer 1000 Pro waterproof?

A: The Explorer 1000 Pro is unfortunately not waterproof. Please make sure you keep away from the rain. 

 

Q13: Can I use the adapters of the Explorer 2000 Pro to recharge the Explorer 1000 Pro?

A: You can use the car charger, and AC cable of Explorer 2000 Pro AC cable to recharge the Explorer 1000 Pro, however strictly do not use the AC cable of the Explorer 1000 Pro to recharge the Explorer 2000 Pro, or this will cause battery damage.

 

Q14: Can I use other brands of solar panels to recharge the Explorer 1000 Pro?

A: Jackery strongly do not recommend using other solar panel brands to recharge Jackery power station products, because they can not guarantee other brand quality and provide an after-sale service - for instance if becoming damaged using other company's solar panel brands.

We check with our warehouse or suppliers to make sure that your desired item is available and can be despatched. In the event that your items are unavailable for immediate despatch, we remove the pre-authorisation from your credit card and send you an email informing you of our actions. When items are available to be dispatched, we process the charges and prepare to despatch your order.

 

How will my order be delivered?

All orders will be delivered using the fastest, safest, and most reliable methods. Once we process your payment, we will aim to dispatch your items within the delivery time frame stated on the product page. We will choose the most suitable delivery method and courier after you order. It's not possible to choose a courier or delivery method yourself. Sometimes, orders for one or more items may need to be delivered by different courier networks, so you may receive items at different times.

Right to Cancel

You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier indicated by you acquires, takes physical possession of the goods. To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement by email to sales@powertosurvive.co.uk.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

Once the right to cancel period has expired we may still accept returns, although additional charges will be applicable. However, these regulations do not restrict the statutory right to cancel and do not apply during the 14 days cancellation period.

 

Effects of Cancellation

If you cancel this contract during the 14 day cancellation period, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us). We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than –

(a) 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or

(b) (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or 

(c) if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest. You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Keep the product in a ‘as new condition’. This means the product must be returned in its original condition unused and in its original packaging which should not be marked or damaged (e.g. if you have opened the box to examine the product you must have done so without damaging or marking the product at all). It should be returned with the original box, packaging, and accessories. Do not write directly on the packaging.

Some of our products may have delicate physical properties and the transportation of these items is a difficult business. If the item you wish to return has delicate physical properties please make sure that any courier used is aware that the contents of the shipment could contain delicate items.
