Q1: What devices can Explorer 240 power?
A: Please note that the AC output port can only charge/power devices that operate at less than total a of 200 Watt.
Q2: Can the Explorer 240 be charged while using?
A: Yes, Explorer 240 supports pass-through charging. But we don’t suggest this as it could shorten the battery life.
Q3: Can I use the generator while it's in the bag?
A: We suggest do not use it while in the bag since it’s form-fitting.
Q4: How to know the working times for my device? Why does the duration of some devices deviate from the actual usage data?
A: Working time = 240Wh* 0.85 / operating wattage of your device. The duration of Jackery equipment is based on laboratory data, and the duration of specific equipment usage may vary.
Q5: Does Explorer 240 include a built-in MPPT controller?
A: All Jackery power stations have a built-in MPPT controller.
Note:
- Storage instruction: keep fully charged every 3 months for best results and store it between -20 and 45 °C. Keep your portable power station away from heat and direct sunlight in order to extend its life span.
- Lithium batteries with a watt-hour output greater than 160 WH are generally prohibited from being carried on the plane, either as hand luggage or checked luggage. Please contact your airline for more information.
Q6: Why can the solar not produce 100W power when charging to Jackery power station?
A: As you know, solar panels are affected by many factors. such as the intensity of the light and the angle of the panel put on the ground. 100W is tested in an ideal laboratory. However, the intensity of the light constantly changes. In addition, the angle of the light illuminating the solar panel also changes with the rotation of the sun. Please try to test your solar panel under the full sunlight to see, and make sure there is no shadow cast on the panel.
Q7: Is the solar panel waterproof?
A: The Saga 100W is not waterproof. To Maximize the lifespan of the module, please don’t let it get wet.
Q8: How to clean the solar panel surface?
A: This point is mentioned in the manual. Please use a soft cloth to remove the dust and dirt on the surface.
Use a damp cloth to wipe the surface of the solar module to remove any remaining dust or dirt. Any guano or other adhesive should be removed as soon as possible from the solar surface to avoid a reduction in performance.
Q9: Does the carry case include room for the power cords?
A: Yes, it still has room to put the power cords.
